Alan Curry has a BA from Stephen F. Austin State University and a JD from South Texas College of Law. He served as an assistant district attorney with the Harris County District Attorney's Office for nearly 20 years, rising to be the chief prosecutor of the Appellate Division. Prior to working for the district attorney's office, Alan worked for one year as a briefing attorney on the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston. Alan has served as the Editor of the State Criminal Appellate Law Update for the Appellate Advocate, the newsletter for the Civil Appellate Practice Section of the State Bar, and as the Co-Editor for the State's Appellate Manual published by the Texas District and County Attorneys Association. Alan is currently employed as an appellate prosecutor in Galveston County.
